Since December 5th, 2006, Berry has been missing. He was on the verge of turning three when he disappeared; his birthday being May 21st--or somewhere abouts then.
It's been a long time since I stopped counting the weeks, the days...and with all of the dogs and strays around, I think I've lost hope of his return. Whether he is dead, or moved far away from this city, I don't know. And maybe, I don't really want to know. So, this is in memory of him. I'll never forget him, and that eager look that always seemed to be in his eyes. I think he always wanted to live in the wilderness. He was comfortable outside, and spent many a day wandering in the garden. So, to you Warriors readers, Berry was my Firestar. |

He knew how to open doors, not with knobs of course, and would kill someone if he couldn't get the blinds on my window to cooperate with him and open. xD Berry used to wake up all the time, trying to peek outside by fumbling through my blinds.
Half was so depressed when he left. Something must have passed between them and she knew he was gone; they were extremely close. ;__; We had to get a new kitten (Crookshanks, see him in that webcam thing? ...do you want him?! xD) to heal her heart. I still think she misses him though. :/ She's not quite the same anymore.
At least Crookshanks is a good listener, more so than Berry. I'll miss the way that Berry was so stubborn. Stubborn in the way that says, "You love me so you won't make me stop. What? You say I can't claw the couch? How sure are you? C: ...how sure? No, really. You love me to--AHHHH. RUNNING!"
My god... I hope he's alright. I know what it's like to loose a cat. ;-; Even if it's just for a few seconds, I miss my kitties. D:
